21 Days To Loving Your Husband {An Ebook Review}

By Rachel O’Neill, Contributing Writer

One of the earliest realizations my husband and I experienced in our marriage was that it is way too easy to simply coexist as spouses. Jobs, social events, housework, a growing family, and the distractions of the information age can make life chaotic. Serious effort is required to cultivate a meaningful and deeply loving marriage.

21 Days to Loving Your Husband

While Niall and I do make efforts to connect and engage with one another despite the craziness of life, I can always use the encouragement to invest more into my husband! So I was excited when Melinda Borda and Carrie Martin-Vegue of Wholesome Womanhood contacted me about their new ebook, 21 Days to Loving Your Husband.

Twin sisters Carrie and Melinda have much practical and encouraging wisdom to share with other wives. They take you through a 21 day challenge of focused investment in your relationship with your spouse. The 21 chapters are succinct, easy, and fun to read. Each day examines a different aspect of a wife’s relationship with her husband, including praying for him, honoring him with her speech, and making her home a haven.

I found the advice within to be extremely encouraging and totally doable! Carrie and Melinda are writing from their own experiences as women trying hard to invest in their marriages and to love their husbands. Their tone is both humble and upbeat.

Melinda is married to a man who travels regularly for work. At the end of each chapter she gives suggestions on how to apply the concepts shared if your husband is away from home.

Learning Personal Lessons

My biggest personal take-away was the need to ask my husband more frequently about his preferences and desires. Time and time again, Carrie and Melinda encourage us as wives to just ask our man. So often I assume that I know what Niall likes or thinks or wants. It was a great reminder to me!

If you feel like you’ve lost the spark in your marriage, this book is for you. If you find yourself stuck in the romantic rut of every day living, it might be just the kick you need to reinvigorate your relationship with your husband!

Carrie and Melinda have generously offered to give away a copy of their ebook to one ABM reader. You can enter to win by following the instructions in the Rafflecoptor box below. Good luck!

    My husband I have been married for 21 years and we both have grown so much over the years BUT my husband has truly grown into the man I have prayed about this last year. After being diagonised with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2005 and slowly losing my the battle with my health and having to go on disability my husband is such a different man. I have been hurting for 2 weeks due to my RA and out of the blue he brings me home a red rose “just because” he knew I haven’t been feeling well and he wanted to cheer me up. I can not remember the last time he gave me a flower(s) so that really touched me. God is so good to me because he is answering my prayers because my husband is being the husband that I need in my life and I truly to do love him.
